The Huckleberry Finn Youth Hostel



This hostel consists of three 1880's brick buildings in the Soulard National Historic District, an entertainment area with 20 restaurants and bars. The Soulard Farmers Market, about six blocks from the hostel, is open Thursday-Saturday during the summer. Also nearby are the Cahokia Indian Mounds and Missouri Botanical Garden. Don't miss the World Headquarters and Brewery of the "King of Beers," Budweiser, which is a 15-minute walk south. By bus, the Jefferson Expansion Memorial Museum and Gateway Arch, built to commemorate the Louisiana Purchase, are within 10 minutes. Watch the Cardinals play baseball all summer and the Rams play football all fall.
